We blended herbs, flowers, French green clay, and gluten-free oats to make an exfoliating cleanser that removes oil and dirt without over-drying. French green clay is high in mineral content and is reported to draw out impurities and toxins from the skin. The Chinese herbs in this formula are excellent for acne prone skin. According to Chinese Herbal Medicine, these herbs Clear Heat, Dry Damp, Resolve Toxins, and Soften Nodules. We chose not to make this product a liquid cleanser because we did not want to add any unnecessary preservatives or stabilizers. *
