We craft a variety of natural lip balms for you. This one does not contain beeswax. We formulated it for people who are vegan and for people who have an allergy to beeswax. It is perfect for every day use to keep lips soft, supple, and moisturized. Our BeeswaxFree Herbal Lip Balm is our best selling product.
For this lip balm, we have used plant-based candelilla wax. This wax is derived from a shrub that is native to the rugged region of northeastern Mexico. The herbs we infused into this balm are known in Chinese Medicine for their ability to combat dryness. They Clear Heat, Cool Blood, and Nourish & Moisten Yin.
There are no added fragrances or flavors. The cocoa butter gives this balm its creamy texture and adds a mild hint of cocoa. You may also notice a faint earthy aroma of the herbs.
Our regular BeeswaxFree lip balm goes on clear. But if you want to add a hint of natural color to your lips, check out our tinted version of this vegan lip balm (only herbs are used to impart their color - there are no artifical colors added). *
