When lesions weep, using an ointment or cream directly on them is not recommended. Powder to absorb the exudate is much more effective. Sprinkle just enough herbal powder onto wet section of weeping lesions to absorb the exudate. Do not rinse off right away. Allow it to form a crust. Apply 3 times per day if possible.
